This week we had some tests ranging from easier than ordering a big mac and diet water at McDonalds, to harder than making a 10 pound chocolate cake.

We all dressed up like young fashionistas on Wednesday for school picture day. We are all looking forward to the LIT this weekend:   ILS WIN LIT.

Some of us may not be able to walk after tonight’s basketball practice.

 Blog:  Week of: 9/9/13

This week was very fun for us here at Ils. We have been through over a whole month of school. We have gotten into the routine of going to every class.  This week our laptops were distributed, and we have been using them throughout the day in our classes.  We started our devotion project in English.

 Blog: Week of 9-3-13

This week was a short week because of Labor Day – this made the week fly by faster. We all still miss summer and wish it was back again. We had fun meeting our family unit first grade partners this week.  We also listened to them read a book.  We’ll help them with chapel during our family unit chapel seating in two weeks.  We’re reviewing expository writing in English.  We’ve been focusing on instructional writing this week.  After creating games with a small group, we wrote instructions for playing the game.  After testing the instructions on the following day, we discovered that writing instructions isn’t quite as easy as it seems.  We had a few tests and got some graded tests back. We had some bad grades and some good grades. All in all it wasn’t the worst week.
