On Monday Youth Minster Matt Nieman gave the sermon to us about whom to follow and who to not believe. One side was telling the truth and the other was telling the wrong thing. On Wednesday we went to Seymour Middle School for career day. We learned all about jobs in our area. It was very interesting field trip. We also had church that night for our midweek Lenten services. On Friday we started our court case in History class. We also had a two hour delay - we liked that!! Congrats to the LIT cheerleader champions: our ILS cheerleaders!! Way to go!! Also nice job to the boys and girls basketball teams in LIT. Good Luck to the ILS boys and girls in the state tournament!!

This week was what I would call an exciting, funny, and happy week. On Monday we had chapel. Mr. Sievert gave the message to us about temptation -How we fall into the devil’s plan. On Monday the 8th grade boys had their last home game at Immanuel Lutheran School. They have had good memories at Immanuel. On Wednesday we went to the hospital for a tour. It was very interesting to see all the things that have to come together to make a hospital. On Thursday the 8th grade boys had their LIT assembly. It was very fun and hilarious. This weekend the boys will play at Columbus East at 12:00. Come out and cheer them on!! Good Luck boys!!!

This week was an outstanding week. On Monday we had Family Units seating for chapel, and Pastor Currao gave the message. Also we had inflatables;it was really fun. On Thursday our school spelling bowl winners went to the county bee. They did a great job. On Friday we had assembly for our 8th grade girls LIT. They play this weekend against the Lions of St. Peters. Good luck girls!!!! |
