Long Week
Tags:

This week was a long week. On Monday, we had chapel in the morning and the spelling bee around noon. Noah Bullard took first place; Brock Storey came in second, and Tanner Prewitt got third. Our 8th grade girls basketball team got a win at Crothersville this week. The 8th grade boys basketball team demolished St.Ambrose on Thursday. We are almost finished reading Call of the Wild by Jack London.

This week was a short week, but that is not always bad. We enjoyed a three day weekend last weekend.   Our Tuesday had an exciting start – we spent the first 45 minutes of the day in the hallway in our tornado drill positions.  Thankfully the storm passed by without touching down.  Happy Birthday to Taylor Reynolds tomorrow.  Good luck to our 8th grade boys this weekend at the Seymour Middle School tournament and to the 8th grade girls at the Columbus Central tournament. Hope everyone  has a good weekend!

What an extravagant week here in our 8F homeroom! First off, I would like to say congratulations to Luke Onken for placing third place in our school geography bee! Also we welcomed some chilly days into our midst; we even got blessed with some snow! Today is Friday the thirteenth, the first Friday the thirteenth of 2012!  Is that a tad bit creepy, or what? And whoa now, we have a three day weekend to kick it off! We kids are lucky, but sorry parents; I have a feeling you guys will still be working; sorry about your luck. But even as you will be working, we are thankful that you take care of us with everything that we need. Once again, we thank our Lord, Jesus Christ, for everything we have. We wish you guys the best, here at Immanuel. So, on that note, tune in next week for 8F’s personal Warrior Weekly!
