This week has been packed full of activities. This weekend the 8th grade boys basketball team is going to the State Championship in Indianapolis! Don’t forget to show your Warrior pride. On Wednesday, we went to Career Day at the Seymour Middle School for 21st Century. Booths from many places in Seymour were there. A lot of 8th graders got lots of freebies! On Thursday, the 4th and 5th graders performed their play “It’s Cool in the Furnace”. This play was based off of the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The AR Challenge has been going for some time, so don’t forget to read, read, read!

On Friday, we had a field trip to the hospital. We learned very interesting facts about radiation and C.T. scans. This weekend is Boy's L.I.T. The boys hope they win! Good luck, Warriors! There will be no school on Monday; it is an unused snow make up day. Enjoy the three day weekend! Feb

This week was a great week. Immanuel readers started the 2012 National AR Challenge. We’ll read and compete with students across the nation for the most AR points per student per grade level. Immanuel students sang at Mr. Demske’s funeral on Friday. Mr. Demske was a teacher, principal, and coach for many years at Immanuel. Everyone did a great job singing and with showing respect at today’s funeral. Girls and Boys LIT is coming up soon, so get ready for it. Hope everyone has a good weekend! Andrea, Room 303
