This week was cut short because of Parent-Teacher Conferences. On Tuesday, we traveled to the Covered Bridge as a service project. We had so much fun that we can’t wait to go again. The basketball season began with the first practice of the season. Our players are excited for it to start! We had a great week this week and I, along with my fellow classmates, can’t wait for next week.

Short Week!

This school week was short. On Monday we had a great chapel presented by Pastor Kozisek.  Wednesday was maroon and gold day. There was a four way tie for first place between Mrs. Franke’s, Mrs. Elkin’s, Mrs. Bloch’s and Mrs. Kielman’s classes.   We had an athletic assembly on Wednesday to recognize fall athletes!  Academic Super Bowl has been practicing each Wednesday after school for their competition in April.   There will be no school on Thursday and Friday as we enjoy our fall break.

This week was a very fun week. We had a lot of activities this week, from sports events to county fests to writing devotions. This week - in middle school football - Trinity played Brownstown; it was a good game, but Brownstown ended up winning. This week at school we finished revising our devotions and checked fluency and audience by reading them to first graders. They gave us feedback on how we could make it more interesting for kids their age.  We’re getting used to using our 1:1 netbooks during the school day and at home.  This week was an interesting week in 8th grade.  I can’t wait for maroon and gold day next week!!!!

The week of September 24 we had a blast! We planned what we were going to wear for the girls’ volleyball LIT. We are going to wear costumes and wear maroon also to the games. On Thursday we all got our laptops. They are awesome - can’t wait to use them in class! It is a real privilege to get the technology. During English class we did our peer meetings for our devotion; we are going to put the devotion on a website for a service project. Can’t wait to go to the LIT!!!!!!:)Go Warriors!!!!!!!!!
