Chapel will be on Monday.  New offering envelopes for the month of October are in folders today.   Our October offering will be used to remember Emilie Jo Franke.   After fall break we will be collecting new socks for those in need in our community.

This week's Bible account continues on from last week as we learn how God continues to use Moses to lead His people out of Egypt.  We will learn about Passover and how important this event was in that day and still today.  

This week we review the entire prayer and work to be able to say it by ourselves. 

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. 

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. 

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.   Amen

Our letter and sound for the week ahead belongs to /t/ and we continue to work on the words 'I' and 'here'.   

Our reader is titled "Shapes". When these booklets come home please keep them at home and add to your collection.  Please practice reading these on days when you do not receive a new book. I know they become boring but we do still have students who struggle to read 'and' and 'had'.  Practice helps.   Thanks!  

We will be looking at informational text this week and learning how text can help us find the 'can, is, does and has' of a subject. 

Our unit focuses on making comparisions with numbers to 10.  With the end of the quarter comes the end of this unit.   We will start a new after fall break!  

We will finish up the week completing our study of extreme weather and talking about the seasons.
